The intention of this project was to represent different stages of photography on a basic subject. By using flowers as the objects in focus, an implication may be made of the degradation of natural beauty through the advancement of technology.
Although each photograph was captured digitally, an attempt was made to use as little digital manipulation as possible. While the saturation and tint were adjusted in photoshop, the subjects and surroundings were altered with objects including torn paper, strings, and clear plastic sheets.
