As the final assignment for our Animation 1 class, the Motion Design students at Ringling College of Art & Design were assigned to select a spoken dialogue which was to be broken into sections, allowing each student to contribute their own animated depiction of the message
A vote was taken at the beginning of the project for which dialogue to represent, and the poem "Explaining My Depression to My Mother" by Sabrina Beniam was chosen
After the poem was selected, and the sections were assigned, each student then recorded the lines from their portion in their own voice
The final version was composed by Joe Donaldson, with audio by Kelley Warner
